Character
If you learn independence then you can learn how you learn and use different things to help you – like a dictionary to help you in English. We can use thinking tools to help us show independence and support our learning.

Character traits are a part of everyday life within our school. We are taught about them in assemblies and character lessons, were we can reflect on what the trait means to us and how to progress within our ability to demonstrate the value.

For me, I feel that aspiration and perseverance have had the biggest impact on me as a learner. I am taught how to show these and given lots of examples of how to show these in the school environment. I make an effort to challenge myself and be more aspirational every day. Because of this, I have seen big improvements in my success.
